Greetings! Long time no update! Things have been extremely busy in our neck of the woods, so let us tell you about all the exciting and not-so-exciting things coming up for the label:
The most immediate news is that we have three new releases in the webstore. Well, technically two new releases and a repress, but still! The new records are the Natural Law - Find the Flock LP and the Nomad 7". Check them out, they're two of the better records we've released to date! We've also repressed the Hoax 7" yet again so everyone can get a copy! Those are all up in our webstore with a free download, as well as plenty of new distro items.
In a week (from when we wrote this), we'll be unleashing the new Merchandise LP, Children of Desire, upon the world. It is hands-down the best record we've been a part of and we can't wait to share it with the world. We are also repressing their first LP, Strange Songs (In the Dark), with Drugged Conscience, as it has been out of print for over a year. These will be released in conjunction with a massive U.S. tour that Merchandise is launching on April 1st. We will post their tour dates with that update!
In very unfortunate news, Weed Hounds broke up with their LP unfinished. It is a damn shame, as the demos we heard of the new songs were absolutely incredible. You win some, you lose some, I suppose.
In light of such bad news, Bad Noids has stepped up to the plate and will be taking the KW-006 catalog number from Weed Hounds for their own debut 12" that should be out...I don't know when, but soon, hopefully!
Wiccans has finished recording their new LP and is in the process of mixing it. Based off of the raw, unmixed songs we've heard, this one is going to be a real treat. For all you Euros out there, the great Hardware will be doing a Euro pressing for the band, so you will be able to score it there for cheap! That's right, folks, Wiccans will be labelmates with Slang!
Much sooner than expected, the CREEM 12" has gone to press! It will be a split release with Deranged and should be out by May 1st. It's far and away their best material and really capitalizes on the promise shown on the demo and 7" single. They'll be playing Chaos in Tejas and embarking on a post-Chaos tour with Hounds of Hate, as well. More details to come!
Lastly, and not ENTIRELY label-related, the Nuclear Spring demo (which features KW head honcho Colman!) has finally dropped in the U.S. on Hysteria Records. Check the Hysteria bigcartel to get a copy of it!
